April Daly, Ph.D.
Daly Web, Inc. was incorporated in the Fall of 2004 by April Daly, Ph.D. as a LIMS
consulting service after a year of operation as an independent consultant. Since then Daly Web, Inc. has continued to provide quality
LIMS programming, configuration, and support services
to a variety of industrial and pharmaceutical enterprise scale laboratories.
Prior to working as a consultant, Dr. Daly held various positions
in scientific research, laboratory automation, and software engineering.
Although Dr. Daly's formal background is in chemistry, which includes a post-doctoral fellowship
at the United States Naval Research Laboratory
and co-authorship of more then 20 scientific papers in chemistry and physics,
Dr. Daly has always been interested in computer programming and has used computers to increase productivity
in the laboratory through instrument interfacing and automated data analysis.
Recently Daly Web has moved all LIMS and
scientific software operations to our sister company, Lab Objects Corp.
while at the same time expanding operations to include a more comprehensive hosting
and software (SaaS) offering for Small and Medium Sized Businesses in the Hudson Valley.
